About
Sara Kaplan-Khodorovsky is a Partner at Green Savits, LLC. She has spent the vast majority of her legal career representing disabled individuals in their claims for Long Term Disability and Individual Disability Insurance claims. Fueled by tragic circumstances she experienced as a child, she has made it her mission to stand up for her courageous clients facing an unequal battle with sophisticated insurance carriers. She joined the firm in 2021 and became a partner in 2024.
Sara teams with her clients from the inception of the disability claims process, from reviewing insurance policies and providing caring and thoughtful advice, to assisting with filing for disability and other employee benefits in a way that optimizes her clients' chances for success. She also assists individuals whose disability insurance claims have been denied by filing administrative appeals and litigating ERISA insurance claims in Federal Court. Representative litigation matters include multiple favorable Federal Court rulings that her clients are entitled to disability benefits and meaningful settlements for clients in litigation.
Sara believes in giving every client a safe space, free of judgment, where they feel valued and respected. Clients deserve no less, and she is adamant that each client feel they have a steadfast yet approachable advocate in their corner.
In her spare time, Sara is an avid reader and enjoys being outdoors, travelling, and spending time with her family. She is also a proud member of the Board of Directors of Partnerships for People, a Division of Keystone Human Services, which provides independent housing and occupational assistance to disabled members of the New Jersey Community.
