The United States District Court for southern New York on September 30 allowed our client’s breach of contract lawsuit against his former employer to proceed. Partner Jon Green argued successfully in favor of our client, a former executive vice president for sales at a banking software firm.
The defendant had moved to dismiss our client’s claims that they used ambiguous language in his employment contract to withhold his obligated bonus, and that they underpaid his severance by two months upon his termination.
The court denied that motion and found that our client had stated both of those claims.
